Job description:
Supports an operating segment which includes several diverse business by participating in project and process work. Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Researches operations workflow problems and system irregularities
Develops, tests, presents process improvement solutions for new systems, new accounts and other operational improvements
Develops and leads project plans and communicates project status
Leads various committees or work group to develop, implement, modify, and document new or revised accounting processes, procedures, systems and tracking mechanisms
Participates in the development of policies and procedures to document accounting processes, system, and concepts
Performs other duties as assigned .
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA designation or ability to sit for the CPA is preferred.
3 – 6 years experience in general accounting, finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge source systems and relation to financial systems including previous experience working with an automated general ledger system and/or data system. Healthcare experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to analyze existing and potential workflows, processes, supporting systems and procedures, and identify improvements. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. Good analytical ability, strong PC skills and good problem-solving skills are required. Strong project/decision facilitation skills required
